Artemy is a competitive squash player who has consistently ranked at the top 5-15 US junior players and has played international tournaments since 2013. Artemy has played almost 250 accredited matches in the Junior division. In 2020 he received the William T. Ketcham Jr Most Improved Player Award moving up 60 positions in his ranking. He is also the recipient of multiple US Squash Scholar-Athlete Awards. In April 2021, Artemy and Sonya Sasson worked together in order to create a youth squash program at the West Side YMCA. Here they introduced young kids to squash and taught them the fundamentals of the game. It was both a fun and rewarding experience!
